All Services and Supports offered through CLWA are for persons with developmental disabilities who reside in Ontario and are at least 18 years of age.

Supported Group Living

The Supported Group Living home offers 24/7 care to adults for the age of 18 requiring care and supervision.
Services offered by this program include supports for activities of daily living such as assisting a person with personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, administration of medication, medical appointments, and includes training related to money management, banking, and other life skills.

Community Participation Services and Supports

Community Participation Services and Supports, also known as Day Program is designed for social inclusion within the community. Programs offered enhance life skills such as washing folding laundry, maintenance of a kitchen and assisting in the cleanliness and overall operation of a small Thrift Shop that gives participants an opportunity to socialize and interact with community members.
The group also takes place in weekly visits to the local gym, cultural activities offered locally, weekly leisure and fun trips and one year end trip that our staff and participants fundraise for.

Supported Independent Living

Supported Independent Living assists individuals to live independently within their own community. Services that are offered to SIL participants at an assistive level are home maintenance, meal preparation, grocery shopping, financial assistance, and attendance at medical appointments. Participants choose which services they require and CLWA respects their rights of choice.
